Sound Healing
A deeply restorative therapy that uses sound vibrations and frequencies to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and support emotional, mental, and physiological balance.
What Is Sound Healing & How It Works
Sound healing is a therapeutic modality that uses vibrational frequencies, tones, and sound waves to support relaxation and mind–body balance. These sounds are delivered through instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and guided vocal tones, helping influence brain-wave activity and gently guide the body into a calmer state.

There are many types of sound healing, each using different instruments and frequency ranges. At AMSEL Biohealth Center, we specifically use Tibetan Sound Healing, a traditional approach known for its deep, grounding vibrations and harmonizing effects on the nervous system.

Research has shown that specific sound frequencies may influence breathing rate, heart rate, blood pressure, and stress hormone levels—helping the body shift from a stress-driven (sympathetic) state into a restorative (parasympathetic) state, where relaxation and recovery naturally occur.
How Sound Healing Works at AMSEL Biohealth
Sound healing sessions at AMSEL take place in a dedicated sound-studio room designed for comfort, privacy, and sensory regulation. You are guided into a supported, relaxed position while trained practitioners use live acoustic instruments and intentional sound patterns to create a therapeutic sonic environment.

Each session is thoughtfully tailored according to the desired focus—whether deep relaxation, emotional release, nervous-system reset, or performance recovery—allowing both body and mind to enter a state that supports restoration.

Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes. Many clients experience a sense of calm, clarity, or emotional release after a single session, while deeper benefits are often supported through regular sessions, depending on individual goals and stress levels.
